She spoke about how to make our blog more approachable - such an informative talk.
My blogger friend Leanie from Leah Beauty invited me and it was lovely to meet her in person. Check out her blog and social media here
Some brands were invited to exhibit some of their products as well. Phillips Avent, Sunstar G.U.M and Rain South Africa were present. Rain provided us with the most soothing neck and shoulder message *hmmm*. But you can not host a wonderful event with out some goodie bags, right? Let me show you what we got from our generous sponsors.
I can not believe the generosity from our sponsors, these goodie bags were packed to the brim!
We were gifted with the full app from The Entertainer. This app is available in book form as well. It provides endless two for one coupons at selected health and beauty outlets, restaurants, cafes, hotels and tourism attractions.
Oh so Heavenly shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair. Smells strongly of berries, but in a pleasant way.
John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner & Everlasting Blonde. I am excited to try the first two, lookout for a review. I am curious to see if it can work magic on this fine and thin hair.
Buchulife is first aid gel. It is said to aid & soothe wounds, burns, bites eczema, bruising and joint pain. It has a strong herbal smell
Mints! I always have some brand of mints in m bag, this will certainly be used next.
Philips Avent power milk holder??? Can anyone guess that I am not a mommy blogger? Think I might use this to take some special coffee to work.....
Benefit Pore-fessional. This primer is phenomenal, I own the full size and I swear by it. It makes my pores look less visible and creates a smooth canvas for my foundation to be applied. This reminds me, I should probably do a full review on this baby.
Lately I have really been into drinking tea. This sounds healthy and delicious. I can not wait to try these.
These two products got me very very excited! I have been wanting to tr this exact mascara since it launched a couple of months ago. It is said to lengthen, add volume, definition, lift and an intense color . I look forward in testing this mascara.
The liquid lipstick is super! I have done a full review here - spoiler! I love it. Since I already own this color keep your eyes peeled for a sneaky little giveaway maybe soon.
We also got some jewelry from Romeo Foxtrot. Very generous.
They are very clever in adding all their information on where you can fin them at the back of their packaging.
Three of my favorite things: Chocolate, Lush and a gift card. Such a generous gift from Canal Walk. Thank you so much. PS I did share the chocolates with my husband, but the rest is all mine... LOL
I have always been looking at this range with longing eyes, Thank to the CTMeetup I get to test on product in the range, and what a perfect time to test a hydrating mask? Looking forward!
I am not one to take alot of selfies but this sure will help. You stick this to your phone and then the purple part you can put against a window or window like surface in order to get a better selfie. Hmmm if you spot a lot of selfies on my Instagram, know I love this gadget and got it figured out otherwise, maybe take a moment and enjoy a good laugh.
Yet another gift within the goodie bag.
Rain gifted us with a soap bar, hand cream and a gift voucher. The lady used a oil when massaging my shoulders that I desperately want to buy so guess what I'll be using m gift voucher for?
Thank you to all the sponsors, All the ladies that put in hard word, especially Cindy. It was an awesome day and so lovely to meet everyone.
Let me know in the comments below if there is something in this post that you would love to see a review on soon.
