Hope you guys are doing well. Cannot believe we are only a month away from Christmas, Wow! I got back from visiting my Dad this month and I should be all rested out, but it just seem that I cannot find my way back to my normal posting schedule. Hauls are my favorite posts to write, right next to Favorite posts, so let me show you what jumped into my basket and came home with me this month.
Kathleen Lights Highlighter Palette
The moment I saw this on YouTube I knew I had to own it. The swatches is not the best and it does not do this palette any justice! But believe me when I tell you it's gorgeous. It can be applied to show a natural highlight or you can build the intensity to a Nikkie Tutorials highlight. The shades are also great to mix together. Unfortunately this palette is not available in South Africa, but let me know if you guys would like to see a full review.
Elizabeth Arden I <3 Eight Hour Cream - Limited Edition
This is just like the original 8 Hour Cream, only in limited edition packaging. The red packaging is stunning and yes I know I'm a sucker when it comes to packaging.
Elizabeth Arden Si Illuminating Advanced Brightening Night Capsules
A very long name, I now but this stuff is amazing! I have been wanting to buy the golden capsules for the longest time, but when I decided to take the plunge the sales assistant said these would be better for my skin and age. She gave me a sample and I was back at her counter the very next day. Let me now if you guys will be interested in a full review.
Benefit High Beam
I have seen this lovely lady all over YouTube as well as blogs that I follow. Been lusting over this for ever, but since I have have got some texture on my skin, I have always been convinced that I cannot wear highlighter. Then I decided to throw caution to the wind and I just picked it up to be added to my collection.
Clinique Pop Liquid Matte 02 Flame Pop
Liquid lipsticks are all the rage at the moment. South Africa is a bit behind on this particular trend, but none the less I had to try these out, and the red was the one that stood out for me. The frosted glass is gorgeous. I am hoping that this is a stunning formula that does not dry out my lips. Here is to hoping...
Clinique Pop Matte in 02 Icon Pop
Like I said, Matte lips are all the rage at the moment and these matte lipsticks from Clinique was first on my list to try out. The color range is small and they are very similar to the Clinique Pop Lip Colour and Primer,
the biggest difference is that these are matte. I know that it is summer, but all the bright colors in the range are similar to ones I already bought. I decided on this color in the end.
Essence Matt Matt Matt Longlasting Lipgloss
Hayleys World did a video on these lipglosses here. After watching her video I just had to go out and get some. There were only two colors in stock and I chose the red one. Looking back, I think Hayley said that the formula on this one is a bit weird. We shall have a look.
Essence Colour & Care Lipstick
This tiny tube honestly impressed me so much that I went out and bought some more! It's tiny but packed with moisture and pigment. Essence brought out new products and these lovelies is part of this new range. Keep an eye on the blog, Ill show you guys the whole range of new products.
Soil - Peppermint Oil
A secret mission is underway using this oil.... Ill do a post soon and let you all know what I am up to...
