Beauty Tag : Would you rather???

This week Zanele Mondi from In out and around Soweto blog joined me on #testblock over on Instagram. We had some awesome products that we did quick and small reviews on. Since today is Friday we decided to end the week on a high note and do a funky post on each of our blogs. 1.Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or Nice hair and no make-up?

     These days messy hair is a trend. It is easier to use bobby pins and a hair band to tame down messy hair. Having a beauty blog people at the office and friends kind of except your makeup to be on fleek all the time.

2.Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

     Definitely let go of the eyelashes. Have you seen a face without eyebrows? It almost look like a new human species. You can just pop on a pair of false eye lashes and be done with it. 

3.Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Clicks for the rest of your life?

     Clicks would be my first choice because they have many different brands and that would be better for the blog, but then again, on the other hand you have MAC.......

4.Would you rather wear lipgloss/lipliner look or 80's perm?

     Definitely lipgloss / lipliner. I have just come to terms with my thin, fine and extremely straight hair. And besides these  days there are some pretty awesome liners, the long lasting liners from Essence is great value for money and they perform excellent. They are Pigmented and easy to apply, and then obviously the MAC pro-longwear liners are just super!!!

5.Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?

    Hmmm, I have done both and neither ended well.

6.Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

     Neither is very flattering but to me the biker shorts is less ridiculous, although I do not have the legs for it so I'm kinda torn now.

7.Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can't be covered?

     These questions are getting very embarrassing. Again both has happened and got me quite hot under the collar. Now and orangy tan can be color corrected with makeup - lots of makeup but tan lines that you can't hide... Then on the other hand, an orangy spray tan will look full on orange on my skin tone. I'll have to go with funky tan lines. At least you will have some sort of story to tell, right?

8.Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair color?

    Bad haircut, there have to be some kind of way to style a bad hair cut but you can not hide bad hair color. Or just wear a beanie...

9.Would you rather have youtube or twitter taken away forever?

     I am not so hot on Twitter, its too fast for me and my day at the office is way too busy for Twitter. Then when I eventually do have time everybody has put their phone's down... YouTube on the other hand is one of my guilty pleasures. Twitter can go - say tweety bye-bye :-)

10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?

    Mascara! Have you ever tried doing a sexy, sultry, smokey eye with your fingers? Hell to the no. I will need those brushes, I already have the skill of a kindergarten and now you want to take away the only help I have?  That's just cruel man.
