Review : Elizabeth Arden Miracle Oil

Hi guys, hope you are all doing well. Today I am going to share with you a gem that is good to use all over. I am sure that we can all appreciate a good all rounder, a one and done product and this is exactly what this oil is for me. I am already at a point where I need to look at repurchasing a second bottle. Now let's get on with why I love this oil so very much.

Packaging - The bottle is made from a sturdy plastic with a spray top and then a plastic cap. The cap has not cracked on me yet which is great in my books, I hate it when the cap crack within the first couple of uses. The mist sprayer is very nice and fine, it does not squirt a whole lot of product at once. I have not found that the top leaked the more I used the product and I feel that the packaging has got the typical 8 hour cream feel and I love it, it makes me feel comforting.

Application - Like I said in the above mentioned point that the sprayer is quite standard and has a nice and even spray. This is not like the Vaseline spray that you can keep on spraying all over, it kind of sprays in one spot and you will then have to spread it nice and evenly.

Staying power - We all want to know if this product really lasts for 8 hours and I can totally agree with that. I got it in my eye the one day and my eye just kept watering the whole day, It was sensitive and burned and that is how I know that this lasts a very long time. When you first apply it to the skin it sinks in very quickly and you do not look or feel like a grease monkey.

Formula - I found that this is a very light oil that can pack a punch! It can take care of dry spots, brittle hair, after shave burn and even those winter cuticles without feeling like a thick and heavy moisturizer. It does not leave my hair looking dirty and oily, but rather shiny and healthy (unless it hits my roots, then it fuels my already very oily hair) It smells fresh and uplifting and clean.

Purpose - According to the Elizabeth Arden website this product has got 8 purposes
  • All over moisture
  • Reduces dry and rough skin
  • Adds shine to dry and dull hair
  • Post shave moisturizer
  • Massage away stress
  • Scent promotes a sense of well-being
  • Cuticle softener
  • Instant shine

Longevity - It is very interesting that on the back of this bottle it claims that you can use this product for up to 24 months. It will never last that long in my house but its interesting that it has such a long shelf life.

Key Ingredients - Tsubaki oil, Ginger Root Extract Grape seed oil, Olive oil, Avocado & Sunflower seed oils. These oils are all know for their outstanding moisturizing properties and combining them all in one bottle sure is to make this bottle a super mixture.

Where to find - You can pick this up at any Elizabeth Arden counter at Edgars, Red Square, Foschini, and many other stores.

Price - This Miracle oil retails for R425 and it worth every penny. If you are someone who does not like to apply body butters or body creams, this might be the perfect product for you. It is easy to use and apply and locks in the moisture you need for a healthy looking skin.

If you have already tried this product, let me know in the comments below how much you love it and if it is on your wishlist, I highly recommend it.

Love ya
Melanie

  1. Elizabeth Arden has really great products and looking at the range of benefits that this product has, well I'm sold.

After saving for it, I will purchase it as it seems dry skin friendly.
