Haul : May 2017

Hi guys, I have been missing in action for a while but I am "all systems go" again. Today I am going to share with you all the goodies I bought in the month of May - I know I am a bit late, and so will my faves post, but I still want to share with you what I got. PS there is already a basket ready for June but I will post that a bit later this month.

Essence Sun Club Matte Bronzing Powder

In the past I have not had the best of luck with these type of packaging. Without fail the lid will break at the back of the compact but the product inside is great. The pan size is huge and the powder feels soft. Its lightweight when it comes to pigmentation, but that suites me as I can build it up and just bring some color back to my skin.

Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara

I really fell hard for the original Lash Princess mascara and was excited to see that they brought out a new version. The wand is curved which assist in holding a curl for longer. I have high hopes for this mascara and am looking forward to use this and to do a full review or maybe a "vs" post.

Catrice Glad Doll Sculpt and Volume Mascara

The bristles on this mascara looks so good. I can imagine that it can create great volume and separation. I have heard good things about the original Glam Doll and was just about to purchase it when this one hit the shelves. Looking forward to some great mascara days.

Essence My Must Haves Pallete

When I saw these on social media I got extremely excited. This is such a great idea. You can choose the colors you know you will love and use over and over again. There is always a color in a palette that receives little to no love and with this concept you can choose your own colors. There is suggestions in store on which colors to pair with which should you feel the need for that. I picked up a neutral palette and a pop of color palette. The shadows swatched really well in store.

ColourPop Eyeshadow Palette in Heavy Hitter

ColourPop did three limited edition ranges this year for their Spring collection. They each were a trendy monochromatic color look and I could not keep my eyes and hands off of this palette, I knew I had to have it from the first moment I saw this. After getting the hi-maintenance palette and enjoying it so much, I knew this will be great quality as well and a good neutral palette is always welcome in my collection.

ColourPop Alexis Ren Bronzer & Highlight Palette in Topaz

Jaclyn Hill talked about this palette in one of her videos and she loved it and freaked out about how good it is, so naturally whatever the queen says you need, you go out and get. The powder feel hardish in the pan so I am intrigued to see how it will perform.

Mark Anthony Oil of Morocco Body Wash

I was in the market for a new body wash and the one day while browsing the shelves at Dis-Chem I came across this body wash and it smelled amazing. The fact that it has argan oil, just added to the pro side of the list and into the basket it went. It is a bit pricey but I think that I will really enjoy it and the bottle is huge so it should last long as well.

Garner Fresh Clarifying Wash

Now normally I do not like gel cleansers at all and usually I stay clear of them, simply for the reason that they cause havoc on my face. But I am hoping this one is different, my face has been really oily lately and it creates huge problems with my foundation. I am hoping this wash is the answer to my prayers.

Garnier Moisture + Matte

I am also in the market for a good moisturizer. I recently found a good one, but when I saw this one I had to try it out and hopefully it will be awesome and helpful to the situation going on with my skin.

This was all the goodies I got in the month of May, what did you get and what are you falling in love with? Please let me know in the comments below, or leave the link to your blogpost. Also, if you want to suggest any good products, leave the details in the comments and I will check it out.

Love ya
Melanie
