Faves : March 2017

Happy Monday guys! A new week with new challenges to overcome and new goals to reach. I hope the weekend treated you well and that you are rested, if not, I hope that what ever you did was worth it :-) Today I want to share with you some of the goodies I kept using over and over this month, so much so, that it reached favorite status.

Elizabeth Arden Supertart

If you do not stop me, I can talk about this product for days at end. It is such a staple in my collection and I am dangerously low again. It is a serum type product that you can use day and night underneath make up (before you put on your moisturizer) or at night when you do your skincare routine. It sinks into the skin and take with it what ever is ontop. I have been using it for almost a year now and my skin has radically changed (for the better). Gone is the de-hydration and dry patches under my eyes. It is a pricy bugger but worth every penny, I promise you and you will thank me later for this recommendation. "You're welcome :-) "

The Body Shop Body Butter in Almond Milk and Honey

This was featured in last month's haul and in this month's haul and in my favorites post. Saying I'm obsessed is a HUGE understatement. When The Body Shop had a 3 for 2 sale I jumped and picked up three more tubs. I love the smell and it is so nice and rich without being oily and too much. This is a must-have in the winter and I will have to keep myself from not featuring it in every monthly favorites post come winter time.

Inglot HD Perfect Coverup Foundation in 79

If you are looking for a matte foundation, this is a great option. I find it to be matte but it suites my skin very well at the moment. It keeps the shine at bay (for most part of the day), but does not accentuate any dryness on my skin. It's lightweight with decent coverage and a good color match. The pump is very convenient and hassle free.

Brush Egg Brush cleanser

This make life so much easier. You can deep clean face or eye brushes in a flash and be done - go one with your life. It's easy to hold and to use and easy to keep clean afterwards. I do have a Sigma glove as well, but for quick and easy, effortless brush cleaning I turn to this little guy.

Smashbox Cream Shadow in Quartz

I am not sure if this is still in stock, it might have been discontinued, but if you can get your hands on it I highly suggest you do. The color is gorgeous and can be worn on its own or as a shadow base. I have been using it for the best part of the month as an eyeshadow base and on days where I have either been lazy or late for work I just slap this cream shadow all over my lid and blend out the edges. It really is worth every cent.

Essence Glossy Stick in Luminous Rosewood

These glossy sticks really are brilliant. They are pigmented and easy to apply, they are also very comfortable on the lips. I have almost all of the lip pencils and one by one I will get back ups before these are to be discontinued. Luminous Rosewood are my absolute favorite and I already have multiple of them, one in my collection, one in my handbag and I am sure there is one at my desk at the office as well. Best part is that they are extremely affordable.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Infinite Mascara

I really enjoy these deluxe sample size mascaras, they allow you to get the feel of how the mascara perform without the full commitment of having to buy the full size. This was the flavor of the month. I feel that it separates and coat my lashes well and it wears gorgeous throughout the day. The bristles make application easy and for that reason it was my go-to mascara this month, I kept throwing it in my weekly makeup bag over and over again.

What was your favorites this month? Please let me know in the comments below or leave a link to your blogpost, I would love to check it out.

Love ya
Melanie

  1. I'm fully aware of the Inglot shadows but I didn't know that their foundation was good! That'll for sure be the next thing I try! xx

    1. Thank you for popping by. I really enjoy their foundation and best part is, they gave me a sample of the color I bought to make sure that the color match is perfect before I cracked into my bottle, It's the small things that count. Their highlighters is also amazing, check them out in this post.
